Bold architecture with beautiful silvertop ash timber cladding
Talk about incredible street appeal. The bold geometric lines of this home’s architecture are given warmth and softened with the use of silvertop ash shiplap cladding. Further drama is added at night when the home is illuminated, providing a glimpse from the street to the azure blue pool beyond. Vibe Design Group were briefed to design a light-filled modern residence, geared around open plan living and entertainment. Inspired by modernist 1950’s and 60’s era architecture, both the front and rear facades feature striking geometry in the lines of the structure, window shapes and the cantilevering of the living areas over the outdoor terrace below.
Careful attention has been paid to the interior detailing, with floor to ceiling veneer panels used extensively and pivot-hinged panels used for doors, creating a seamless flow throughout the home. The sustainable features of the home include north facing orientation, cross ventilation and sustainably sourced timber cladding.
