Ceramic basins hand-made in Tasmania by Lindsay Wherrett

When I first saw this stunning ceramic basin in a bathroom designed by Archier Architects, my heart jumped into my throat and before I knew it I was off down the google rabbit hole trying to find out where to source it for my next project.

Lindsay Wherrett is a Tasmanian ceramicist based in the glorious Huon Valley region of Tasmania, about 30 minutes from Hobart. Lindsay uses traditional pottery techniques and creates all her own glazes in-house, using colours and textures inspired by the Tasmanian landscape.

The subtle variations in texture and colour make each piece a one-off, as well as an eco-friendly investment in Australian made hand-crafted pottery which will set your project apart from most bathrooms where Chinese imports dominate.
