Contemporary concrete and glass home in Brazil
This vast expanse of a house is in São Paulo, Brazil and was designed by StudioMK27. Raw concrete has been used extensively throughout the upper volume, creating a striking cantilever with a large concrete and timber box floating above a lower storey of glass. The glass slides back completely, blurring the divide between indoors and out, while a strong connection with the outdoors is also achieved on the upper level by the use of large pivoting shutters overlooking the garden.
