Architectural transformation for Rozelle pad
The ‘Elliott Ripper House’ in Rozelle is an example of how a modest-sized home can be transformed into dramatically more functional, spacious and elegant living space. Remodeled with expertise by Christopher Polly Architect, it has been transformed into a contemporary 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom dwelling with two living spaces and improved rear and side courtyards.
Space has been infused into the rear ground floor with the creation of an open plan area perfect for cooking, dining and enjoyment of the nearby courtyard. Blackbutt open stairs provide vertical symmetry leading to the first floor and a cantilevered balcony creates a feeling of upward space and movement. Natural light and ventilation abounds in the Elliot Ripper House, which also features many sustainable features including recycled handrails and flooring and insulated ceilings, roof and walls
