Collingwood warehouse conversion by Di Mase Architects
Who hasn’t at some stage dreamt of living in a converted warehouse with huge timber beams, soaring ceilings, rustic concrete floors and colourful rugs scattered about?
The bones of this former warehouse in Collingwood, Victoria had all the elements to make for an outstanding residential conversion. Di Mase Architects oversaw the refurbishment, stripping back the old and revealing the inherent beauty of the original structure. A restrained palette of materials and finishes perfectly compliment the scale, proportions and history of the building. Modern insulation and sealing of gaps in the building brought it up to current environmental standards, creating a comfortable, light-filled interior.
