Industrial ‘New York loft’ style in Sydney
This is the home of Sydney architect Jodi York of T01 Architecture & Interiors who has done an amazing job designed the renovation of her Sydney terrace in a New York loft style with an industrial vibe. “The idea was to work from the bottom up, exposing the structural elements as much as the building would allow on the ground floor and then as you move up the building, so the raw texture became less significant’ says Jodi.
The combination of amazing feature tiles, exposed acid washed bricks and polished concrete floors make for a fantastic backdrop for a quirky collection of art, rugs and occasional furniture.
And its sustainable too, with no artificial heating or cooling, cross ventilation from directional louver windows and recycled blackbutt vanities in the bathrooms.
