Japanese architecture with warm minimalism
Its hard to conceive a plainer frontage for a home, but there’s something about the simplicity of this structure that makes you want to knock on the front door and ask to have a look around. A metal clad cube presents a harsh exterior, however this strongly contrasts with the warm, light-filled interiors that are clad with plywood and feature skylights and cutouts to allow natural light throughout. The home was designed by mA-style architects as a single family residence and is located in Omaezaki city in Japan. What do you think?
