How’s this for spectacular? Not surprisingly, this landscape design by Ritz Exterior Design has won the Abode Garden of the Year 2012 as well as the Landscape Industry Association (W.A.) for Best Design and Best Residential Construction 2012. The stunning panoramic views of the Swan River have been fully capitalised on, with a series of tiered spaces fronting onto the river, including alfresco dining and a fireplace with built in seating. The front of the home has been dramatically landscaped with the use of cantilevered recycled timber structures and laser cut panels to soften the modern lines of the home.
Materials and products: Railway sleepers, aluminium laser cut leaf panels (sourced from Lump Studio), steel laser cut roof panels treated with “zinc effect” paints, travertine tile paving, spotted gum decking to front and teak decking at the rear.
